Visit the old center of town or go on a relaxing stroll through the vineyards to Stäfa. And when doing so, enjoy the breathtaking view of the lake and mountains. The lovely bathing resort is just one of the many other appealing aspects Männedorf has to offer.
Meilen
A drive or hike to the Pfannenstil region is just as wonderful and interesting as is crossing the lake with the car ferry to Horgen.
Rapperswil
In addition to being a car-free medieval town, Rap-perswil, the city of roses, has a great deal to offer namely a lovely bathing resort, a castle with a Polish museum, Knies children's zoo, a wooden bridge to Hurden, etc. A visit to this picturesque town is definitely worth your while.
Schmerikon
Schmerikon has great lake facilities complete with boat landings. Whether you decide to go by boat, foot, train or car, the town's center can be reached in no time at all.
Stäfa
Stäfa is probably the most typical lake village along the entire lake. The Sternenhalde and Lattenberg are covered with the largest and most beautiful vineyards in the canton's lake area. Stäfa also happens to be the largest wine making community in the canton of Zürich.
