"Christkindlimärt"
The popular "Christkindlimärt" in the heart of the Rapperswil-Jona Old Town will taken place from December 10th to 12th 2010.
A Christmas-like atmosphere on the Main Square, in the Marktgasse, at the Seequai on the lake and at the Fischmarktplatz – the fish market square – this is how the Christkindlimärt is presented in the heart of downtown Rapperswil-Jona.
The children will be able to visit with the storyteller; they can do handicrafts and dip candles. Visitors interested in culture will be able to explore the Old Town during a Christmassy city tour or listen to the wonderful sounds of several different concerts. Moreover, on Saturday evening, an Advent and Christmas concert of a very different kind will be held in the Stadtkirche. We can’t wait to see this!

And, you won't want to miss the Hüttenzauber – the enchanting mountain lodge – located on Fischmarkplatz, where you will be treated to food and drink delicacies. This is the third time in 2008 that the tourist office Rapperswil-Jona has presented this cozy mountain lodge. A visit is worth your while.
