Dragon Boat Event Lake Zurich
Dragon boat rides combine the flair of an Asian sport with a social get-together on the water.
Up to twenty oarsmen sit in a dragon boat. A drum sets the beat for rowing – slowly or in racing tempo. Experience shows that neither endurance nor strength is what counts, rather the fastest are those oarsmen who row best together. In this playful manner the crew thus develops a feeling of togetherness. A very special excursion: from Rapperswil to Ufenau Island in a dragon boot.
Paddling makes you hungry, and the fish nuggets at the restaurant are recommended before the drumbeat sets the pace for our return journey. Other trips on other bodies of water on request.
