Skiing in the Haggenegg Ski Area
A visit to the Brunni Haggenegg ski area is always worthwhile.
The trip from Lake Zurich is short (by auto 35 minutes from Rapperswil). One saves not only on gasoline but also on the day ski pass: it costs CHF 26.00 or CHF 29.00 for an adult, depending on the weekday, and for children CHF 20.00 or CHF 22.00.
There is sure to be snow at this area with its two ski lifts: the lower slope is prepared with artificial snow.

Near the little Mythen one finds its stepbrother, Haggenspitz. Skiing in Haggenegg, one can see this “stepbrother” most of the time. This area is also attractive because it is located below the tree line. Many parts of the upper lift (Haggenegg 2) run through woods. The view from the upper terminus is breathtaking, as is the outlook from the terrace of the Nätschberg mountain restaurant.
